I really love the look of these. They sort of remind me of the old UD Naked on the Run palette – a full eye/face palette from years back that I recall buying when we were going on a cruise and I wanted something great for travel. These aren’t the same but still they made me think of that palette. There really aren’t enough palettes of this sort around and I love something that simplifies travelling (even shorter, local jaunts) so that I don’t need an embarrassing separate piece of luggage for my makeup! Curious as to this “Japanese technology”…is that even real? Is it a term that can be substantiated? Science or sales-silliness?

I still have it too and still use it. Despite all those “use within 6 months/12 months” labels, I’ve had powder shadows for 6 years or 12 years that are still absolutely fine. Cream shadows do tend to dry out but powder products…unless they start to smell “off” or perform weirdly – I feel they’re fine and so far, I’ve never had a problem. That was a great palette and it was beautifully packaged as well – that faux tortoise shell was very nice looking.

These pinky neutrals are not my speed. I just got the ND Green-Brown palette at the Beautylish sale. When I moved my original one got lost in transit. When I opened the new one, I wondered if I was out of my mind getting this pricey palette a second time. But then I realized the central rows of 12 colors are actually my perfect palette that no one else makes. So the one side of that perfect palette are some pinky neutrals and to the other side are some warm-y browny neutrals that I will never wear. I feel like I see these neutral palettes a thousand times– but I am a fair olive and the Green-Brown hits the spot. The only other palettes i’ve gotten in the last two years are the ND Triochrome and the new Chanel purple one.

Huh, both palette images have 2 eyeshadows listed as smoke (and no crease colour)… I definitely don’t need these as my current ND products don’t get nearly enough love but the Light version looks like it would be nice for travelling (that I will not be doing any time soon!)

That’s weird! I’ve seen a review if the deep and “crease” is the far right eye colour. You can also see it’s labelled “crease” on the swatches for both light and deep.

In terms of skin tones Medium means middle. I feel like it is the very very VERY least a brand can do when creating this type of product to include three version as bare minimum. 5 or 7 would be even better. With, as you might guess, the medium palette being the middle depth. ND isn’t broke, she’s not a struggling indie brand or even a large brand on the decline as far as I’m aware, she is thriving. She can afford to do better.

I 100% get your point, but i don’t think a medium offering is absolutely necessary here. We can see from the swatches both palettes can work for a wide range of skin tones. I think the light/dark is more referring to the tones of the colors in the palette, not limiting to corresponding skin tones.

Pretty for every day use and convenient too. Does anyone know if these are all NEW shades or are they in some of her other palettes? I can’t find the info anywhere.

Thank you!
