Truly! A paradox! I have almost no Huda beauty shadow palettes (nor any other products) because I’ve found them disappointing in the past (maybe one 9-pan somewhere). However, she’s had time to work on the formulas and this color story and packaging makes me want to add it to my pink heaven.

I used to poo-poo packaging as a gimmick designed to make consumers buy stuff at a much higher pricepoint and redundancy than they needed. In fact, I railed against it with skin care, where most products (irrespective of packaging) are gimmicks. Very few skin care items do what they claim (although now brands are savvier in their claim, eg reduces the APPEARANCE of pores, rather than size).

But then I fell into the makeup rabbit hole, where packaging can determine whether you’ll have the artistic inspiration to use the product. When it’s tough to find inspiration after a sleepless night or an early morning, you want the product to do its magic – present the beautiful options and make it easy to engage with it, find the story you want to tell, and then tell it with minimal effort.

So I’ll probably pick up the palette. And whatever that caviar-looking thing is – I want that, also. Hopefully it’s a pinkish cream highlighter – that would go on my face every day.

Gorgeous collection. Please rate well 🙏🎀

Those eye swatches are GORGEOUS, but looking at pics of the palette I don’t really believe they could be that saturated and diverse. I hope this doesn’t sell out before I can review some detailed “real life” reviews!

I guess I’ve never seen those tiny beads before but I was stymied, looking at them, trying to figure out what they were and how you’d use them….looks like a fair bit of work but the smear of the product shown underneath looks quite pretty (if a bit thick).

As for the rest, I’m so over pink for the eyes; I’ve never been a fan, as pink on my eyes isn’t a good look but we’ve had SO much “rose this” and “rose that” for several years.

Wednesday- me too… Pat and Natasha have me covered in warm and cool pink but I cannot seem to have enough. I’m like a raven drawn to shiny (pink) things.

I am super excited for this launch! I definitely am wanting to get the palette, face gloss, lip gloss, maybe the skin care & brushes. I am a sucker for packaging! However I haven’t personally ever bought an item just because of packaging or components. Also am wanting to try the smaller pink pepper perfume & see if it smells as nice as the description notes… Has anyone smelled this perfume by chance?
