This so much. I love colourpop, but at this point it’s just ridiculous how long most of their permanent stuff has been out of stock. I’m not in the US so I usually wait until black friday to do one massive haul, but this year pretty much everything on my wishlist is out of stock. If they can’t manage to keep things in stock, maybe stop producing ten new eye palettes every week

Given the incessant stream of releases, it would appear that even the Colourpop team is running low on enthusiasm; the names are positively cringe-worthy (muah?).

Ahhh, yes. Jack Frost nipping at your nose. Coming in to warm yourself by the fire after building Frosty the Snowman. Generations of family gathered around the tree drinking eggnog and cocoa and also watching you engage in a little Menage a Muah in your Boudoir Noir. That says holidays to me!

Also, can someone please tell me how this is different than 2/3rds of the Dark Blooms release from two weeks ago? Are taupe and mauve the only colors they can get from their suppliers right now?

The lip oils are more like a gloss, I was able to feel them while wearing. A bit sticky, a characteristic that I dislike. I wasn’t wowed, so I returned mine, but they wouldn’t slide off your lips. You should certainly try them, Ulta stocks a few lip oils so if you have one near you, returning shouldn’t be too difficult if you’re up for stepping outside!

I agree on pressed glitters being no bueno; I decided a bit ago to boycott palettes with them, which has helped my wallet!

As others have said, this collection is underwhelming and once again contains pressed glitter.

I decided to break my no buy for the RBK Palette and a lip oil/small empty palette after a constant stream of both good and terrible news over the past few days.

But I honestly think that will be my last CP purchase till they stop with the godforsaken pressed glitter, and thankfully Kristi didn’t put any in her palette.

This just looks like a regurgitation of some older collections. Why don’t they restock their permanent colors instead? I’ve been waiting for ages for them to restock their lippie stix and their super shock shadows/blushes. It’s really getting annoying. I’m planning on getting the Child palette when it restocks next week, otherwise that will be it for Colourpop for a good long while unless they do a proper restock.

Agreed their palettes have significant overlap. SMH, why don’t they focus on what they are really good at and fairly unique for in their price range–more of the cool blush sticks and highlighters or restock some of the previous colors. By the time I found out how much I liked them, they were mostly gone. The market is flooded with cheap palettes but their cream blush and highlighter formula and super shock eyeshadows are great. Also, restock that damn palette that is now selling for 3x the original price on Ebay–clearly there’s a market. Or maybe clue in that people want some jewel tones for the holiday not mauves and taupes and neutrals. Ho Hum I guess I am being a scrooge here.
