Happy weekend! While I’m sharing the top-rated products I published reviews for over the past week, I’d love to hear about your own “week-in-review.” I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.

Christine, I love when you have this feature on Saturdays. It’s so interesting to see what looks everyone else has been wearing.
Skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, almost-black hair with natural silver highlights
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?
• EYES: Primed with MAC Painterly. Used UD 24/7 pencil in Perversion at the base of my upper lashes by dotting between the lashes from underneath. Using the Dior Galactic Eyeshadow Palette, I started by putting the pink shade on the lid and crease, which created a beautiful, subtle one-and-done look, but I wasn’t done. I used the burgundy shade on the outer V, the black shade to line the outer third of the upper lash line, just a touch of the white shade on my brow bone, and a bit of the silver-lavender shade in the very center of my lid as a highlight. I used the UD 24/7 pencil in Alkaline on my bottom lash line, Cover Girl Clump Crusher Waterproof Mascara on upper lashes, Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, Benefit Goof Proof in Grey to fill in brows, and Benefit Precisely My Brow in Grey to define the brow tails.
• FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup in Sand, Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Concealer in Light Buff, Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, and MAC Sheertone Blush in Blushbaby.
• LIPS: Rouge Dior in the shade Nude Look
What was the hero product of the week for you?
Dior Galactic Eyeshadow Palette. The shades blend beautifully and work well together. I bought it mainly because of the silver-lavender shade, but wound up loving the pink shade instead.
Any products you want to use next week?
ND Glam Eyeshadow Palette
It’s interesting Seraphine – for my twin sister’s birthday I got her the Clarin’s Brown eyeshadow quad becasue she likes muted, neutral, mostly matte shades. And the quad was perfect for her – not overly pigmented and the one satin shade she loved. And there was I, opening up my birthday present from my son – the Bronze Bliss by PMG – the polar opposite to hers – sparkly, shiny and shimmery.
I am really pleased that you have ended up really liking the Dior Galactic quint and that you found another shade in it that you liked the best.
Have fun with Glam next week.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: Yesterday when I went for my Remicade infusion I had one of those days where everything looked just perfect!
Eyes: Huda Beauty Rose Quartz palette for all but a few other shades starting with Radiate transition, Precious in the crease, Mantra to deepen and better define deep crease, outer V and outer lower lashline, Self Love inner corner tearducts, then I went in with CP Mr. Sandman all over mobile lid and MAC EDES in Fathoms Deep to soften and smoke out UD 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Empire on lower lashline. My usual black upper tightliner, winged liner, and waterproof mascara.
Cheeks: Hourglass Tiger Face palette 1. Finishing Powder, Transcendent Light for my bronzy contour, PML Divine Rose blush and Golden Nectar Highlighter.
Lips: Nyx Plum SLP and MAC Wakanda Sunset Amplified lipstick.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Returning to using a very thin, well spread out coat of Nyx JEP on the inner half of my mobile lid and over that eye fold has helped me keep my eyeshadow in place even when my tearing from either allergies or wind starts up.
Any products you want to use next week?: Hopefully, I will have my small Sephora order with ND Noa and MUFE Wherever Walnut for a nice, toasty warm nude lip! Also, I want to dive into my MAC Wakanda Forever e/s palette and use some of the deepest shades in looks.
Yay! Thanks for bringing this feature back Christine!
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I was really happy with my whole look yesterday when I attended an extended family event. I wore the last of my Clarins Everlasting foundation in Linen (That is a stunning foundation, sadly d/c), with my Shiseido blush in coral, translucent powder from ModelCo and CP’s Foolish lipstick.
My eye look was the best – I used PMG’s Bronze Bliss’s Nude Moon on the top half of my eyelid, with CT’s The Rebel Shade 2 on the lower half, with Shade 3 next to the lash line. I also used a bit of Bronze Bliss’s Bronze illusion across the crease to lighten the greens. It turned out very well.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: PMG Bronze Bliss and La Roche Posay’s Sunscreen 50+
Any products you want to use next week?: Just my usual assortment of eye palettes and Bronze Bliss.
❄️YOUR SKIN TONE/COLORING:
Under my name; dark plum hair; hazel/green eyes.
❄️WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MAKEUP LOOK YOU WORE THIS PAST WEEK?:
EYES — UD Primer Potion in Enigma (DC). Sydney Grace In Mel’s Memory Eyeshadow Bundle (LE): Aim High (all over eye), Honestly (over Aim High on outer deep crease), and Keep It Fun (lower lash line and outer ⅓ upper lash line); Looxi Beauty Pressed Highlighter in Stiletto (DC; inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper and lower waterlines). Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Mascara. Brows brushed, but not filled in. CHEEKS — Sydney Grace Pressed Blush in Mauve Delight. LIPS — Seraphine Botanicals Vegan Berry Tint Liquid Blush for Lips & Cheeks in Cherry Berry, diffused a bit by tapping over it with my pinky finger. FACE — Melt Hydro Grip Primer; Tony Moly Cat’s Wink Clear Pact (as foundation); Looxi Beauty Pressed Highlighter in Stiletto (DC); UD All Nighter Setting Spray.
❄️WHAT WAS THE HERO PRODUCT OF THE WEEK FOR YOU?:
Seraphine Botanicals Vegan Berry Tint Liquid Blush for Lips & Cheeks in Cherry Berry. I’ve been looking and feeling tired this week, and this bright cherry red color on my lips never fails to make me look and feel alive and awake.
❄️ANY PRODUCTS YOU WANT TO USE NEXT WEEK?:
I really want to use the SG In Mel’s Memory Eyeshadow Bundle more. This has been the most inspired I’ve been by a “palette” in a long time. Mel’s magic lives on. I put it in an empty green and pink magnetic palette from Unearthly Cosmetics. I had space left over, so I added a couple neutral mauve Sydney Grace Pressed Blushes, a Looxi Beauty Pressed Highlighters in Stiletto and Valley Girl. It makes for a gorgeous eye and face palette.
Also, theBalm Fun Guy Palette, the Cosmic Brushes Serenity Palette, and the color mascaras I got from Zeesea.
Yay Saturday polls are back!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green eyes, warm brown hair.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I dusted off a couple of things I haven’t used in a while for this look: https://www.instagram.com/p/Clq7P6ILUAy/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
And also, I really loved this look: https://www.instagram.com/p/Clq8csqLnj7/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Probably Paula’s Choice Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense sunscreen… I’ve used it every day this week for extra sun protection and to help sheer out some of my other base products. Plus it has a lovely pore minimizing effect on my skin, which I am a fan of.
Any products you want to use next week?: My Clionadh singles, mostly.
