Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Pretty much all makeup brands but I would have to say that Chanel is probably the one I have been seeing and wanting the most. I have always had a love for Chanel and Dior and not so much brands like Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury. I certainly have looked and purchased from those brands but I have been burnt by a few of their products and so they drop off my radar unless there is something really big dropping and something I cannot get from a different brand.
Chanel has always had my heart and while there are certainly a lot of fails, overall, I like everything I have from them. I love base products from both Dior and Chanel.

I know what you mean about the Cristal palette. I have been seeing it on t he secondary markets selling for upwards of $130 dollars. I wish that there was some way to keep people buying tons of them just so they sell out and then they turn around and jack the price up and make a killing. While I am on the subject of things that bug me, I really don’t like prestige brands selling different products in different markets. The Chanel and Dior brands make totally different releases to sell in Asia, Australia and Europe and then a different one for North and South America. I know that they tend to not release as many shades of foundations in Asia because they would have trouble selling some of the darker shades as the market isn’t there but lipsticks, eye shadows etcetera could be sold in both places. Some of the things that they have released in Asia are absolutely stunning and you cannot get them here unless you know someone over there to purchase and ship to you. Even then, they cannot ship certain things like nail polishes. I spent the last couple of days trying to track down a particular nail polish that I wanted to get for my daughter for her Advent Calendar and it turns out, it was only released in Asia and is gone, gone, gone!!
Okay, I will get off my hobby horse now, LOL!!
I stopped using Tarte a very long time ago when they released a couple of base products with abysmal inclusivity and I vowed never to use their products again. I haven’t paid any attention to what they have put out there but you comment will make me visit them again so thank you, Nancy.

Me too! I never thought I’d buy another Tarte palette, but I bought last year’s Maneater After Dark palette and liked it enough to buy this year’s Maneater Nightfall palette. I also have the Gilded Glamour palette duo. I don’t think I’ll buy much else because Tarte can be so repetitive.

Well, I keep hoping and praying that Lorac will bring out something wonderful, like they have done in the past few years with their Noir, Soleil and Fairytale Forest palettes – which have all been in my kind of shades – but who know?
To answer the question, it would probably be ND for her I Need A Nude palette. Perhaps PMG.

I’m sort of disillusioned with pretty much all brands! I walked by the Dior counter yesterday and didn’t even stop to take a look… And I was in Sephora and it was sort of the same thing, except for Sephora’s own house brand (I want to try their newer concealer and they finally have all the shades in stock but I didn’t have the time to stop and be matched to a good shade). So for me, it’s probably Sephora’s house brand and perhaps Glossier, just because it’s finally available in store here!
