Expressie FX Nail polish in Iced Out
OPI Lincoln Park After Dark. I’ll probably end up buying it but I got Black Cherry Chutney a while back and they are so similar that I don’t feel the urgency to get it, though with autumn approaching, I’m sure I’ll pick it up the next time I’m near an OPI stockist.
A cheapie I got at the grocery store yesterday. I was in a Halloween mood, so I bought it: orange w/a green shimmer in it. Three bucks, and it’s looking good so far!
I have to admit that I am not much of a nail person. I think it stems from 45 years of nursing and not wearing polish for that reason. Back in the day, nurses were not allowed to wear nail polish and when all of the fake nail, acrylic nails, etcetera came around we were still not allowed to use them do to the chance of bacteria being under the nails. Well duh, even our own nails have bacteria under them! Anyway, I just really never got into it. I did recently see a color of Chanel that I liked. It is 137 Sorciere. Awfully expensive for a nail polish and I don’t know how the polish wears.
What’s Up Night Contrails or Downpour n/p are gorgeous shades of blue! Too bad that I don’t do my nails often any more and I don’t know if cooler blues could even suit my coloring, but yeah, those are beautiful! 💙
Feeling Fiendish by Holo Taco! I mixed my own dupe instead.
Jude Chao (fiddysnails on Instagram) makes ILNP’s shades look so good, like the magnetics from the Cosmos collection. Dark Matter is really freakin’ pretty, buuut that ~$13 should probably be spent elsewhere.
Sally Hansen’s Bronze Metal.
After watching many swatch reviews on it, The whole Zoya Fall Enamored collection had me hooked. I ordered most of it. You can order mini bottles now, and that helped!
My favorite indie polish brand is Noodles Nail Polish. Lots of crellies and glitters, and they’re always SO PERFECT for the season with every launch. I always want them, but I just don’t need more nail polish. I might still get some anyway though. 😂
